Flip the cards for instant, evidence-based answers to the questions every parent asks. Clarity — not anxiety.
My newborn sneezes constantly. Should I be worried? 🤧
Tap to reveal answer →Newborns sneeze frequently to clear their tiny nasal passages — it has nothing to do with a cold. No treatment needed.
My baby's skin is peeling all over. Is something wrong?
Tap to reveal answer →Skin peeling in the first weeks is expected as your baby adjusts from the womb. No creams needed unless your pediatrician advises.
My newborn hasn't urinated in over 8 hours.
Tap to reveal answer →No urine for more than 8 hours in a newborn can signal dehydration or other issues — contact your pediatrician immediately.
My baby hiccups after every feed. Is that okay?
Tap to reveal answer →Hiccups are extremely common in newborns and usually bother parents far more than the baby. They fade with age.
My 6-month-old isn't sitting without support yet.
Tap to reveal answer →Most babies sit independently between 6–9 months. If there's no head control or your baby feels unusually stiff or floppy, get a check-up.
My infant drools a lot and chews everything. Teething?
Tap to reveal answer →Drooling and mouthing peak around 4–7 months. Teething may cause fussiness — but never high fever. Fever means something else.
My toddler throws tantrums daily. Is this behaviour normal?
Tap to reveal answer →Tantrums are a healthy stage of emotional development in 1–3 year olds. Stay calm, keep them safe, and talk after — not during.
My 2-year-old only says a few words.
Tap to reveal answer →By age 2, most toddlers use 50+ words and simple two-word phrases. Fewer than that deserves a developmental assessment — early support works best.
My newborn (under 3 months) has a fever of 100.4°F.
Tap to reveal answer →Any fever of 100.4°F (38°C) or above in a baby under 3 months needs immediate medical evaluation. Do not wait and watch.
My child has a cold but is playing and eating well.
Tap to reveal answer →A playful, feeding child with a mild cold usually needs rest, fluids and time. See a doctor if there's breathing difficulty, poor feeding or lethargy.
When should I start solid foods for my baby?
Tap to reveal answer →Start complementary feeding around 6 months, when your baby can sit with support and shows interest in food — while continuing breastfeeding.
My baby spits up a little after most feeds.
Tap to reveal answer →Small, effortless spit-ups are common and harmless if your baby is gaining weight well. Forceful or green vomiting needs a doctor's review.
